I have been mulling over doing a post from my religious perspective which is theologically conservative Protestant (Presbyterian Church in America) and have come to the conclusion that there should be several. One should be a discussion of 1 Cor 7:8-9 were Paul addresses and approves of certain people remaining single. That could easily be taken to acknowledging there are people who are asexual or semi-sexual. Another is how demi-seuality would fit it. Though a Hetrosexual demi-sexual should fit right in with even the most conservative groups, though that is not always the case. Another possible thread would be how different traditions view and minister to Greys and Demis and our experiences. I seek input before I begin.

Hi, Paul1807. I'm also a conservative Christian and really think that a discussion of 1 Corinthians 7 (including the verses following 7- would prove to be really interesting from an asexual perspective.

How exactly do you mean by "minister" to grays and demis? Being that conservative Christians repress sexual attraction until they enter a relationship which is pursuing marriage, I would think that Christians have a higher propensity to be demi. At least that's the way I've often thought of it. But being asexual, I really don't understand sexual attraction, so this might not be the case.

This comes from a personal standpoint but I'd love to see this simply because I was raised in a Jewish household and I wonder how reactions differ among the Jewish and Christian community.
