Kalexico introduces herself

Hello!

I'm P. and I'm 20 years old. I can't begin to tell you how glad I am to have found this place. I've been struggling with sexuality for a long time and thought there was something wrong with me for not being as obsessed with sex. I'd settled down for maybe accepting the fact that I was asexual, but I could never deny that I did feel some sexual attraction - just that it's really very rare.

IRL, I talk to lots of people at school, but I have very little close friends - my only close friends are to be found on the internet. Nobody IRL knows about this grey-sexual thing (or about the pansexual thing). I'm studying to be a teacher in secondary school - history and English. In my down time, I like to watch TV series (True Blood, Glee as a guilty pleasure, TVD, Grey's Anatomy, The Good Wife, Rizzoli & Isles, The Big C, etc.) and movies (although my attention span is rarely long enough to sit it through in one go unless I'm in the cinema). I also love to read and I buy way too many books. I like reading fanfiction and writing it myself. I have a few social network accounts - tumblr, Facebook, twitter, livejournal, etc. - and also am an active member on some boards.

I can't wait to begin exploring this forum! It's such a relief to see I'm not the only one feeling this way.
