Demisexual?

Hi everyone I came across this site after watching a documentary on asexuality and I realized that I had a lot in common with people who are identifying as asexual although demisexual is a more accurate term to describe my experience. I'm not sure what I hope to gain from here other than the comfort of knowing there are others out there who are undergoing a similar experience...

I really hate labels because I almost always don't fit into them perfectly and I don't think anyone does so I hesitate to label my attraction but I think many would categorize my experience as that of a homoromantic demisexual. But I know it's a lot more complicated than that
