New girl says hello~

Well hello there. Oh, I'm so bad at this.

So, after basically doing nothing at all on this forum except for looking around and editing my profile and viewing forum members, rather than actually starting an introduction topic already... here I am. I'm MariCate, although this is not my real name; I just don't feel very comfortable using my real name on sexuality-related forums, websites, and the like, as I am not "out" to very many people outside of my family (mainly because I'm not even sure what to identify as and call myself yet). I am fifteen years old, a girl, and I'm from the Netherlands, where I currently live as well. I have no idea what my sexuality is, but ever since discovering about certain other things, such as romantic orientation and demisexuality, things have become slightly clearer to me... and, on the other hand, also much more confusing.

In my spare time, I enjoy various hobbies, such as singing, acting, role-playing, writing, reading, listening to and (doing attempts at) making music, watching movies and TV shows, gaming, and more. I am hugely interested in the Enneagram of Personality, (forensic) psychology/psychiatry, criminology, sociology, creative/expressive (arts) therapy, musical theatre, and many other things. I'm also a huge fan of Marina and the Diamonds, but other than her music, there are a lot of other artists and bands that I also love to listen to, and I personally think there is something pretty about almost every song.

I really hope that being part of things like this forum, AVEN (the Asexual Visibility and Education Network) and the Dutch LGBTQ (youth) organization I work as a volunteer for, will help me get more self-insight and discover more things about myself, my sexuality, my personality, and my identity in general. And, well... maybe, just maybe, I will even meet some friendly people somewhere along the way. That would be really nice, to be honest.
