so here I am
I was lurking for a while, waiting to see if the forum would revive, but I guess I may as well join in and help the process.
Anyway, I'm Splash. What can I tell you about me? I am female, I live in the western United States, I just graduated from college (as in, commencement was a week ago — woot!). I like to read. I like fantasy novels and I'm trying to decide what author I should try next. (Suggestions welcome. Current favorites are Tamora Pierce and Brandon Sanderson.) I also like theater, except when it starts to swallow my life, as it is wont to do.
As far as why I'm on here, I've identified as gay/queer/attracted to other girls for about four years. But, I don't tend to find people "hot" or "sexy" exactly. The words never seemed to fit anyone, even my crushes. Then I dated (and fell in love with) someone for the first time last year and discovered she was an overwhelmingly notable exception. Enough to make me seriously consider whether perhaps my brain handled this "attraction" thing a little differently than most people's.
Long story short, I think I may be demi (or possibly demi with a dash of gray, or some other combo), but it's still in the fuzzy stages.
So, hi.

Hey there! I'm also new and would love to see these forums take off again, but I'm not sure where to start. They seem like a lovely place! I'm Narborough, or Nautical *handshake* nice to meet you!
