User Issues

Having trouble logging in, viewing, chatting, or whatever-the-hay? Let us know here, please.

Dunno if anyone else is experiencing this, but I'm finding that if I visit but don't manage to read all the new posts that are highlighted, the next time I come back, they're not highlighted anymore... so I don't know which threads to click on. =/

Hmn... not an issue I've experienced, but to be fair, I spend vastly more time on here than most members, and I read most posts within minutes of them being written.

If you click "view posts since last visit", which is below the header on the left, it should bring up a full list of every thread that has updated since your last login.

It doesn't though. It's just blank, saying that there were no new posts, even though I haven't read the posts yet. It seems to want to count them as being read just because I saw them highlighted the previous visit.

That is kind of how these message boards work. There's not really a way around it on this software.

I didn't realize it was something that normally happened because it doesn't occur very often on AVEN, and I haven't been on another forum in aaaages. =P
